So I got a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2003w with an amd rx 5500 I upgraded to a amd rx 5500 xt. I uninstalled the rx 5500 drivers and installed the rx 5500 xt drivers everything works but after a few days Windows updates and downloads "Advanced Micro Device, Inc.. - Display - 31.0.12016.4002" and installed the old drivers and reverts back how do i make it not do that.

normally you can tell windows not to update the drivers
on my pc, although the updates are searched for, I have to select them if I want to install them
personally I just opened the advanced system settings
windows key and r key (run)
systempropertiesadvanced.exe
, then ok
hardware tab , device installation parameters , select no

curious, I have always done this without problem
in this case, use the workaround option

therefore most often with blocking tools
