Hi @BHoward538,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like HP Presence may be opening in a location off your visible screen area, which can happen due to window positioning issues. Here are a few steps you can try to fix this.
- Alt + Tab: Press Alt + Tab to cycle through your open windows. Once you select HP Presence, try using Alt + Space to open the context menu, then select "Move." Use the arrow keys to bring the window into view.
- Windows Key + Arrow Keys: With HP Presence selected, press Windows Key + Left Arrow or Windows Key + Right Arrow to snap the window to one side of the screen. This can help it reappear in a visible area.
- Taskbar Context Menu: Right-click the HP Presence icon on the taskbar, then choose "Move" or "Restore." If the "Move" option is available, use your arrow keys to move the window back into view.
- Display Settings: Check your display settings to ensure you're not using an extended display configuration that might be causing windows to open off-screen. Right-click on your desktop, select "Display settings," and make sure the monitor configuration is correct.
- Resolution Change: Temporarily change your screen resolution to a different setting and then change it back. This can sometimes force windows to reposition within the visible area.
- Reset Window Position: Some applications have an option to reset window positions or restore default settings. Check if HP Presence has any such option in its settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
