Hello HP Community,
I hope everyone is doing well today. I wanted to pop on here to ask a question regarding my recent acquisition, the HP Pro 3305 Microtower PC.
I want to install a graphics card in this system, so I don't have to use the integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 Graphics. I have a Palit GeForce GT 1030 that I think would work great in this PC, but I don't know if the computer will take it and if it will work with the power supply in my system. Any help would be appreciated. 😊

Hi:
According to this discussion it might work:
What is the best Graphics card upgrade for HP 3300 (HP pro slimline) | Tom's Hardware Forum
Power-wise the GT 1030 only has a 30 W power draw, and I believe the 3305 MT has a 240W power supply.
There are folks installing them in PC's with 180W - 200W power supplies.
Give it a try and see what happens.
This user benchmarking site for the similar model 3005 pro shows some cards that were newer than the original ones supported in the model series.

My PC has a 300W Power Supply and I did test the GT 1030 in my system, and it booted up without any issues and drivers installed with no problems at all. Thank you for your help @Paul_Tikkanen. I really appreciate it. 😊
