ProDesk 600 G2 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello folks, I've got a number of HP Prodesk 600 G2 SFF work stations that are experiencing a problem with their displayport connections. When a monitor is connected via VGA there are no issues, but if you add a 2nd monitor or hook both monitors up through displayport the monitors flicker, and turn off at random. The workstations are all equipped with Intel HD 530 graphics chips, and are running windows 10. I've tried updating the drivers with HP OEM, as well as a number of drivers direct from Intel with no success. A call to an HP support technician ended up with him saying the motherboard needed to be replaced. If that is the solution, then so be it, but I find it hard to believe that so many workstations would have this issue out of the box. Have any of you run into this issue or something similar?

It turned out to be a problem with the monitor firmware and the intel chipset.  Viewsonic is going to RMA all of my monitors (about 60), it's a common problem that Intel has acknowledged but won't fix.  if you buy all your monitors from one place, I'd start with that.

Did you find any solution? I get the same problem here with same product.

I've tried all I could think about without success.

I have sort of the same issue.  I have  a computer that was working fine with 2 monitors then he came in one day and the second monitor wouldn't work.  If I swap the displayport cables, then the other monitor works so I know it isn't a monitor issue.

I originally thought it was a bad displayport port so since these computers are only a month old, I just took his hard drive and put it in anohter new computer.  Same thing so it points to something on the hard drive.

I updated the video driver & firmware.  I deleted the driver completely, reinstalled the driver from an Intel download.

Not sure where to go with this.  The monitors we use are HP 322's.

Were you ever able to get this resolved? We are having the same issue with 100's of HP ProDesk 600 G3 units, using the HP e243m monitor?
