Microsoft Windows 11

I can pin the 'HP Support Assistant' Icon to the taskbar but I prefer to show it on the start screen rather than clogging up the taskbar. Is that possible?

@GodOnlyKnows -- I don't have a computer running Windows 11, but I presume that it is possible to add your own "tiles" to the new "start" screen.  Ask Ms. Google -- somebody must have posted something like "how to add a tile in Windows 11".

if so, open the start menu, all applications, right click on the program, add to the start menu

Thank you for your answer.

I have managed to pin it to that screen, I was also trying to pin it to the main screen display so I suppose you would call it a 'shortcut' icon.

HP Recommended

So you mean the desktop, not the front screen.
So not the same thing, because I probably created the shortcut before switching to windows 11
I found that said a parade, because more the same options does it seem
return to the programs menu
move the mouse on Hp support assistant, right click, and move to the desktop, release
I don't know if it's the easiest, but it works

Yes I did mean the Desktop, sorry but I'm not that technically minded when it comes to computer terminology.

I actually had the Shortcut on my old laptop running Windows 10. On my new laptop I tried moving the Icon from the Start Menu to the Desktop screen but it won't let me do so. Looked at setting up a Shortcut from the program within settings but no luck again. Think I'll just have to put up with it being on the Start Menu alone.

Thanks for your help.
