During one of the HP updates more than a year ago, my SmartTouch feature stopped working altogether. I can't even locate the SmartTouch software on the Start Menu, and I have no idea how to find the software to re-install it. 

 

That said, I can't do anything with the priority update for the ILITEK Touch Screen Firmware Update (HP Prost-R 23.8"), which appears as an update for my NOTEBOOK rather than the DESKTOP.

To get the answer to this question, SmartTouch software is replaced with the ILITEK Touchscreen Firmware

Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-17-ce0000-laptop-pc-series/26084... to download the new ILITEK Touchscreen Firmware for your computer.
