I have my new shinny HP VR headset but I ca not get it to work
When I plug it in and I few buttun clicks on the Mixed reality portal I get this
I then click next and nothing happens
Interestingly if I dont have the HDMI plugged in it seems to go a bit further but stops complaing that the HDMI can not be found
I have GTX1070, the headset is plugged directly into the HDMI port
I have upddated all the drives I can find
If some one has any ideas or whjat to do or how to contact HP for help please let me know
Gary

Thank you for the pointer, but I have already seen this page. Its a little out of date as it was written in the 'developer' days. Still having looked at it. Everything looks OK but it refuses to move on from the pahge shown above.
I have no managed to get a case number with support and hopefully the suppost VR specialist will contact me tomorrow.

OK
I have finally got it working. For anyone else with a similiar problem this is what fixed it for me.
I have an MSI X99 motherboard, MSI provide a utility called 'MSI super charger' as part of the SW that comes with the motherboard. Using this program to set 'enable fast charging immediatlely' to ON fixed my problem. This program controls some aspect of the USB 5V supply, I dont know the exact details.
Hope that helps some one else
