Hi, greetings from Greece.I recently bought the X27Q in order to connect my pc and my xbox series s.I was planning to use the display port for the pc and the hdmi for the xbox. The speakers i am using are the taga harmony intone 2.1 mini.
The problem is that when i connect the speakers with the 3.5mm output from the monitor, the sound is too low.Let's say it is 30-40% lower the when i connect them to the pc.Is this normal?Does this monitor have volume control in the osd settings?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @LouCi4er1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing an audio problem with your HP X27Q monitor. However, please note that the HP X27Q is a monitor and typically does not have built-in speakers. It's designed to be used with external speakers or headphones for audio output.
If you're having trouble getting audio from your external speakers or headphones while using the HP X27Q monitor, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check the connections: Ensure that your external speakers or headphones are properly connected to your computer or the audio output source. Make sure the cables are securely plugged in.
- Adjust the volume: Double-check the volume settings on your computer or the audio output device. Ensure that the volume is turned up and not muted. You can usually adjust the volume using the volume control buttons on your keyboard or through the operating system's audio settings.
- Test with different devices: If possible, try connecting your external speakers or headphones to a different device to see if the audio issue persists. This will help determine if the problem lies with the monitor or the audio output device.
- Update audio drivers: Ensure that you have the latest audio drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP website or the audio device to download and install the latest drivers.
- Try different audio ports: If your monitor has multiple audio output ports, try connecting your speakers or headphones to a different port to see if that resolves the issue.
- Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix audio issues by refreshing the system settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
