I have a HP Z27 monitor. I would like to connect a Keyboard and mouse to it, and share those peripherals between two input sources. Is this possible? I can't seem to get it working.
I have a MacBook connected by Thunderbolt/USB-C cable to the Z27, and the KB/mouse connected to the Z27 can be used by the MacBook perfectly.
If I then connect a second PC with HDMI out on the PC to HDMI in on the Z27 and USB A from the PC to USB A in on the Z27 and switch to that source, I see the screen from the PC but the attached keyboard and mouse are not usable. They remain 'connected' to the MacBook.
Is there any way around this? Here is the manual I have been following: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05932262 but it isn't clear if the Z27 can handle two computer sources at once and share the USB hub?

@benfrain I'm afraid that's not possible, by design, you can only use the keyboard and mouse with any one input source,
and there's no way around this.
