HP Z34c G3 WQHD Curved Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello All.

we have recently Purchased HP Z34c G3 WQHD Monitors, but i have some questions regarding the Build-in KVM and Firmware Functionalities.

Problem 1: why isnt there a possibility to create your own shortcut to Swap between Computers? we cannot be the only ones who have thought that this was a missing feature, or are we just not looking in the right places? To keep pressing the "Menu Buttons" on the screen are working just fine, but the Keyboard Shortcuts would be great and even better if you could choose one in the "HP display center", as you are able to with "Enhanced Lighting Shortcut" and more.

Problem 2: The Picture-in-Picture feature is great, but why is it fixed in specific positions that are not even alligned with the edge of the monitor but are prefixed to stay like 2-3 CM from the edge of the screen? Are there some way to actually eighter manually move the PIP to a desired space on the moniter (Other than the prefixed Top Left, Top Right, lower left, lower right)

Any help would be appreciated.

best Regards!

Hi Daniel
Which firmware version is installed on your Z34c G3 monitor? I received a new one a couple of weeks ago and it was installed with FW Package Version 1.2.16.0.

According to the Quick Setup Guide I installed HP Display Center (v1.0.67) and it said that the firmware was the latest.

In fact there is a later version 1.2.17.0 Rev.A (available from https://support.hp.com/).

I use the Ctrl key to switch the monitors and that is quite convenient.
