Good afternoon I am on my 2nd HP Envy 27 monitor in the last 3 months. For some reason when I am playing my xbox one x the Monitor will randomly flash. It happens 3-4 times per hour. The main game that I have been playing is Fifa 19 and when it flashes mid game it is very difficult. It happens less in PUBG becuase that game does not have a 4k option. Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this flickering/flashing issue?

Thanks for the response.
Try connecting the display with any other devices or a computer and check if it flickers.
If it is, then try checking the cables.
Keep me posted. 🙂

To everyone out there with flickering and blanking problem.............................I'm pretty sure i have solved the problem.
I have a Intel 530 hd graphics chip............and since reinstalling the original drive (from 2016)..........have not seen any problems for moe than 2 hours.
By the way.......uninstalling the update, then intalling a generic drive fixes it as well........but you don't have transparency etc
HP customizes the graphics chip drivers...............so you cannot just install an update from microsoft updates, or from the intel website.........infact, the intel website specifically warns you not to download it for this reason.
So the problem is, to get through some how to HP Technicians, and to tell them about this, and get them to confirm it.
Then they need to contact Microsoft, and stop them from including it in updates
