I have two HP monitors that have HDMI cables. Firstly, the HP USB-C Dock G5 station I recently purchased only has one HDMI port. One of the monitors connects to my HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC just fine. However, the other monitor that is connected to the dock station gives me an error when I plug in the HDMI cable, the monitor turns on, but a message appears saying "input signal not found". How do I fix this so I can use both monitors?

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/ish_5846931-5847032-16
It has a hopeless USB 3.2 Gen 1.0 Type-C 5 Gbps signaling rate port (data transfer only; charging or external monitors not supported) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
It is NOT compatible with any USB-C docks including the HP USB-C G5 dock.
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

The dock is useless for your machine. It is up to you how to do with it. Your machine can use older docks such as
