HP Pavilion All-In-One 24-b010a did update which included Firmware. Now system just gives 2 long and 2 short beeps with black screen. Is there a way to manually update or fix the BIOS?

Hi @CompuK,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The 2 long and 2 short beeps on an HP Pavilion All-In-One typically indicate a BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) error. This can occur after a failed or interrupted BIOS update. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Perform a hard reset:
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect all peripheral devices and power cables.
- Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cables and turn on the computer.
Use the BIOS recovery feature:
- HP computers often have a BIOS recovery feature that can attempt to recover a failed BIOS update.
- Check the HP support website for your specific model to find instructions on how to use the BIOS recovery feature. This usually involves creating a BIOS recovery USB drive and following a specific process to recover the BIOS.
Keep in mind that attempting to update or fix the BIOS manually can be risky, and if not done correctly, it may lead to further issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you, Alden4, for your reply.
The computer was unresponsive to all of these solutions. Online chat to HP was also unable to offer any assistance.
A website directed me to the 8 pin CMOS jumper block on the DAN83CMB6F0 motherboard and there is a legend printed on the motherboard saying which pins did what (7-8 = Boot Block Recovery). Unfortunately, the pins were not numbered and I was unable to find this information anywhere. It took a few guesses to find the jumper number system,
9 7 5 3 1
10 8 6 4 2
and initiate the BIOS recovery, The first attempt worked but on restart reverted to the same 2 long, 2 short beeps error.
After clearing the CMOS (3-4) and having a second attempt, I removed the jumper immediately after booting and put it back in the park position (3-1). I then ran the HP Support Assistant and updated the BIOS successfully.
All is now good.
Thank you again for your reply.
