Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a HP touchsmart 520 1110ea and I was wondering can I use this pc as a monitor(I want to connect my desktop pc to it) but it has no HDMI output, do you think a USB to HDMI adapter would help?

No, it does not have HDMI in port to allow you connect to its monitor. Modifying it may cost your more than buying a good, new  external monitor.
