HP w1858
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello,

My old HP w1858 monitor has started to have an issue where it will automatically decrease the volume. The volume decrease is not an issue for me as this is my second monitor and I don't use it for audio. What does bother me is that the popup for volume goes over everything on my screen and it often gets to the point where it's popping up constantly. Hitting 'select' on the monitor removes it but it's often re'pressed' within seconds. Any way to fix it or at least hide the popup created when you change the volume directly on the monitor?

Thanks!

Is the volume button physically stuck?
