Hi,
As most people tried to make this work, i too have a problem.
My system able to detect the second monitor as 22cwa but not able to display anything.
My Thunderbolt 3 Port has an HDMI adaptor through which my HDMI cable is connected to the monitor.
Tried to go through settings to make it work but not able to.
Please let me know if i am missing anyting.
Thanks

Greetings @michael_007,
Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are unable to use the Monitor on your MAC, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
HP Monitors are not supported on a MAC, refer to "Using HP monitors on a Mac" section of this HP Article.
All monitors are plug and play devices, so you should be able to use the monitor when you plug in the monitor.
However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors.
To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac while the Mac is off, and then turn on the MAC.
The monitor should operate at 60Hz. The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.
Let me know if this helped.
