My computer screen was so hot the the touch on the right near the disk drive that my screen started to malfunction. I feel like this issue should be taken care of by hp because I paid $650 dollars for this computer 2 years ago and I feel like a computer should last longer than that.

Your 24-Df0040 has a solid state disk drive. They run cool. The only moving part in your AIO is the cooling fan for the CPU. Make sure it is moving. Try using an Air Duster to free the fan up if it is stuck.
Your CPU may be running in turbo mode all the the time. Check your advanced power plan and ensure the following to be safe: 5% for minimum speed and %99 for maximum speed. %99 keeps the CPU out of turbo mode.

I did not know the entire display had failed.
You might be able to replace the screen.
Connect a second monitor or a TV set with HDMI cable and use the windows key plus "p" to bring up the selection display. Press the down cursor twice and then press the enter key. This will mirror the screen to the second monitor. If you have Roku you can press the windows key + K (then down cursor and 'enter') and follow the Roku instructions on screen to cast to the TV.
You will have to log into windows blind. Listen for the windows TaDa then enter the pin or password and the enter key.
This will allow you to log in and save important files to a flash drive. When logged in you might want to enable remote access to allow another PC to control it.

Get the part number from the screen. Look for an LG or Samsung part number. if lucky then HP
Look on eBay or AliExpress for replacement screen or try the hp parts store
