EliteDisplay E242
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hi,

I just bought a new MacBook Air and I tried to connect it to my EliteDisplay E242 external monitor, but it does not work properly. I only see part of the desktop on the external monitor--no apps, no mouse cursor....

I looked for drivers to download on the HP website, but there are none for this monitor and this computer.

The Monitor connected well with my old MacBook Air from 2014.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Thank you,

ACA2

Solved the problem by finding and clicking the allow mirroring button on the preferences for the displays.
