Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP All-in-One 24

Device Name: Desktop - RBCHBBV

Product ID: 00325-81811-84446-AAOEM

Processor: AMD Athlon Gold 3150U with Radeon Graphics 2.40GHz

I want to install a 2nd monitor, to extend my current screen, but my HP does not seem to detect the second monitor when I connect the HDMI cord. I'm not sure if it's even possible with my current version of computer. I would appreciate some assistance if possible.

Thank you.

What is your HP AIO ? The following information is useless

HP All-in-One 24

Device Name: Desktop - RBCHBBV

Product ID: 00325-81811-84446-AAOEM

Processor: AMD Athlon Gold 3150U with Radeon Graphics 2.40GHz

You can use the following way to find out.

             https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07555

HP has many different AIO machines

  • Some do not have HDMI port,
  • Some have HDMI in port,
  • Some have HDMI out port,
  • Some have both.

Does your machine have HDMI out port ?

Regards.

Hi, thank you for responding. I believe I have an HDMI IN port, but I'm not sure. On the back, it simply says HDMI

If it is the case that I can't do it through normal means, is there any workaround? Like an adapter of sorts? I have listed the Product Number below:

Product number : 9EF12AA#ABA

I hope that is the relevant information you need.

Understand - I have both (HP Pavilion All-in-One 24-r114) HDMI in and HDMI out on my all-in-one (on the back) - connecting it to the incorrect HDMI port would cause the connection issue - or words to that effect. Go to the HP support site, where you can get to the product specifications and check out the I/O ports - gives you the info.....
