I just bought an HP Envy Desktop TE01-5354 PC,
I want to connect it to an extra monitor. It has only 1 HDMI port and 1 VGA port. The HDMI port is already connected to monitor #1, when I connected the VGA port to monitor #2, it had very low resolution.
These are the ports I have:
1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate; 2 USB Type-A 10Gbps signaling rate; 2 USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 headphone/microphone combo
from another post "It only has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter"
How do I go about getting an adaptor for the additional monitor?
Thanks.

Hi @dx10,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you need help with connecting multiple monitor to your PC.
If you have an USB C port on your desktop, then you will be able to connect the 2nd monitor you have with the USB C port from the PC depending on which port is available on the monitor.
Kindly refer to the steps on this link on how to connect an external monitor and let me know if that resolves the issue.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
