Hi HP Community

I use my HP laptop to manage 5 guys menu website and I noticed the food images sometimes appear less vibrant or not true to color. This affects how dishes look to my visitors

Can anyone suggest ways to adjust the display for better color accuracy or settings that enhance food photography

Thanks for your support

@ryan_carter, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check with different software: Try opening the images in different software (like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or even a simple photo viewer). If they still appear dull or off, it could be an issue with how your laptop's display is calibrated.

Color Calibration: Your laptop's screen may not be properly color-calibrated. You can use built-in tools (like Windows Color Calibration) to adjust the color settings. For more precision, you could also invest in a color calibration tool if you're dealing with professional food photography.

Test on Other Devices: View your website on other devices (smartphones, tablets, other computers) to see if the issue persists. If the images look fine on other screens, then it's likely an issue with your laptop's display.

Check the Website's Image Compression Settings: Sometimes, the issue could be with how the images are uploaded or compressed on the website. If the website is auto-compressing images, it could be causing a loss in vibrancy. In that case, contact the website creator or hosting provider to see if there's an option to adjust image quality.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
