Hp 285 G3 GPU notnworking

I fitted a AMD hd 5670 GPU, now no matter which GPU I select in the bios, it does not switch to the added GPU, I've tested the GPU in my 2 grand desktop and it work fine, I've installed the 310w.psu, still it won't switch to the added gpu, the GPU does not require extra power connections,.I have the largest PSU that can be fitted, the machine is clean installed, I have noticed the onboard GPU has a fit sometimes, it goes grey screen

That is a legacy graphics card used in PC's with legacy BIOS', and it is very possible that your PC. since it has a UEFI BIOS, does not like the card.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go into the BIOS and disable secure boot and see if the PC will accept the card afterward.

If not, you will need to install a graphics card designed for PC's with a UEFI BIOS, such as an AMD RX550.

I will try that, just a shame hp give you limited bios options, if it had a proper bios I would have no problem, my proper pc has secure boot enabled & that still booted with the older GPU,  I have another CPU coming without GPU on board, it's a very strange thing , it shows up in the hardware manager, it just won't let me select it as primary display.
