Hello I have the HP Elite  L2201x monitor that has a display port only , I have a Lenovo laptop , windows 10. How can I get them to be compatible and what cord do I need to make  them work together.  Thanks !! 😊

If your Lenovo laptop has an HDMI out port, then you can buy a HDMI to Display Port cable.

 

Something like this:

 

Amazon.com: Highwings 4K DisplayPort to HDMI, 6.6ft Uni-Directional DP (Source) to HDMI (Display) 1....

[most people don't know this but a docking station can provide not only ,more options

,but also more flexability in case a second monitor could also be a great recommendation
