Idk why but i just got my second monitor that i will use as a min one sense my old one only had 60HZ while my PC the hp victus 15L had over 144HZ just like the monitor i just bought aka the koorui 24e3 but for some reason my PC wont connect with it the hdmi i used worked amazing with my old monitor but it does not work with the koorui monitor plus when i used the hdmi with my nintendo switch it worked. the screen worked and i was able to play on my nintendo switch but for some reason the victus will not work with the koorui at all even if other systems work. it works with my old monitor but not my new one idk why. But still when i look in settings it says i have 2 monitors and the 24e3 is detected but the screen is black. literally everything works on the 24e3 except for the victus its weird

Hi @sgb6 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you've got a bit of a tricky situation with your monitors. Given that the Koorui 24e3 works with other devices but not with your HP Victus 15L, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Display Settings:
- Go to Settings > System > Display and ensure that your new monitor is set to "Extend" or "Duplicate" rather than just "Second screen only."
- Try adjusting the display resolution and refresh rate settings to match the Koorui 24e3's specifications. Sometimes, setting a resolution or refresh rate that the monitor doesn't support can cause the screen to stay black.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- Ensure your graphics drivers are up-to-date. Go to Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right-click your graphics card, and select Update driver.
Check HDMI Cable and Ports:
- Even though the HDMI cable works with other devices, it’s worth trying a different HDMI cable or port on both the PC and monitor to rule out any issues with the cable or port.
Power Cycle the Monitor and PC:
- Turn off the PC and monitor, unplug them from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug them back in and turn them on.
Test Different HDMI Ports:
- If your monitor has multiple HDMI ports, try connecting the Victus to a different HDMI port on the monitor.
Reset Monitor Settings:
- Use the monitor’s on-screen menu to reset the monitor to its factory settings. Sometimes, a reset can resolve detection issues.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your monitor on the manufacturer's website and apply them if needed.
Try Safe Mode:
- Boot into Safe Mode to see if the monitor works. If it does, the issue might be related to software or driver conflicts.
Test with a Different Device:
- If possible, test the Victus 15L with a different monitor or test the Koorui 24e3 with a different PC to further isolate the issue.

I hope this helps.
