Hi everyone, so I have this Hp Monitor L1706 that I have been using since 2016 and I've never encountered a problem with it Everything was working fine then last year around September on this other morning I woke up and turned on my Dell Desktop , it was fine for five minutes then the monitor all of a sudden just went blank like as if I turned the PC to sleep mode except the led light was still on, I tried turning it on and off but it only displays for 2 seconds and then it goes dark again ,the led light shows that it's on and that there's enough power going through(green) I just don't know what the problem is because i plugged my brothers monitor(proline) and it works perfectly I just don't know what the problem with mine is and I can't use the computer without it, please help !!!!🙏

hi

the monitor, is already a few years old ..
if your computer, works with another monitor..
you don't say you tried, but if the monitor doesn't work with your brother's computer either
there is a high probability that it is defective.
given the age, it may not be advantageous to have it repaired..
and difficult to tell you from here, what may be damaged ..
