HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0077tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Pavilion 360's right side screen popped off. The laptop is maintained in best condition and I don't even fold it to use it as tablet, still the hinge is loose on left side and screen popped off on right. Local IT is saying they won't touch it as they are scared the touchscreen will get damaged. HP Centre is saying they will repair screen but incase they damage it then i will have to pay to get screen replaced. I don't understand it's a simple screen detachment, which they can't put back in? From Reddit, I gathered HP is repairing this for free in US.

Hi @ViCh01,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP Pavilion X360 - 14-Cd0077tu.

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
