Product: Hp z440
Operating System: Linux
Got a refurbed HP z440, xeon processor, nvidia quadro k4000. Boots OK into win10, get and install Linux mint without issue until, I install the nvidia proprietary driver via mint. Reboot no video, not even bios screen. Try CMOS reset nothing. Replace the display port cable, reseat card, try HP diagnostic USB tool but the same no video, not even bios screen. Try different HDD to see if I can cause boot issues and at least get a bios screen, nope.
I'm at a loss, it's been a while since I upgraded so UEFI is hilariously new to me but I don't know how a driver install on OS can bork video out.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
