Product: HP Pavilion All-in-One PC 24-ca1000i (4N599AV)

Hi! 

I'm struggling to change my desktop background/wallpaper & lock screen for the last month since I've bought this computer. Every time I click browse to select my wallpaper, the picture does not appear in the file tab which opens when browsing. At all. Its no where. But when I open files normally, through toolbar, all my wallpapers are there?

I have tried getting wallpapers that match the size of the computer screen but to no avail. It just doesn't appear in the browse option. Some help on the issue would be greatly appreciated and I'm honestly incredibly disappointed in this All-In-One PC, as I'm having a large number of issues with display! Its quite infuriating.
