I need to determine if the graphics card is defective.

Pavilion All-In-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just recently purchased a Pavilion All-In-One desk top product no. 4NM45AA#ABA  Model no. 24-xa0020. it seems like the graphics card my be defective. When I make a selection from the task bar, it highlights it in yellow. Also, when playing Micro Soft solitaire, the color of the cards white and yellow on green instead of black and red on white. In addition, I down loaded software from Autocad, and lost most of the info. in the dialogue boxes. Auto cad hasn't as yet been able to resolve the issue from their end of the issue. How do I find out if the graphics card is defective.

Hi @tennyankee

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the display issue.

Please try these steps

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.
2) In Device Manager, expand Display Adapter.
3) Right-click on the Display Adapter, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

Also, try these steps to update the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Also, try updating the BIOS. Refer to this document for steps - HP Consumer Notebook PCs - Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
