Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I only have one hdmi port and i want to connect my 2 screens to my computer. I have even tried resorting to using a hdmi splitter but all i can do is to clone the screen between them and that is not what i want.

If you have any idea how to make the hdmi splitter work or have any idee if i can install another port plz tell me and lets hope i havent spent my money on nothing.

@Mr_Ice -- is this your computer: HP Pavilion 690-0017no Gaming Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

That page states: Video graphics

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (2 GB)
Rear I/O connectors: Dual Link DVI-D + HDMI + DisplayPort

The page does not state if all THREE ports can be simultaneously used.

P.S. There do exist video-cables that have a DisplayPort connector at one end, and an HDMI connector at the other end.

This cable would be useful if your second external monitor has HDMI input, while it does not have DisplayPort input.
