I want to connect 3 monitors to the hp elitedesk 800 gi sff.  I currently have 2 but can't figure out where and what else I need to connect the 3rd monitor.

if a graphics card is in place, it may not have three video ports
didn't see any details in the docs
to see, because with some pro models, it is possible to use both the ports of the motherboard, and the graphics card
so, if not possible, either you will need a graphics card with at least three video ports
either remove the one that is in place, in order to connect a VGA monitor to the motherboard, and two displays
