IPS glow is not a defect by itself. It is most visible in dark scenes or dark themes, often near the corners or edges, and it becomes less noticeable with a better viewing angle, lower brightness, and some room lighting.
That is normal. Only if the glow is too much and interferes with normal usage then it should be considered a defect. All IPS monitors have some level of glow, but some have less and some have more. If you have only a small glow or backlight bleeding at the bottom and it does not appear during normal work, or only shows a little in dark themes, then it is normal. That is just a limitation of IPS technology. Other panel types have their own limitations too: VA can have slower response times, OLED can have burn-in risk, and TN can have weaker color quality.
