Product: HP EliteDisplay E233 23-inch Monitor
Operating System: Other
I'm trying to connect my 2022 M2 Macbook Air (MacOS Ventura 13.4) to a HP ELiteDisplay Monitor but the monitor will not recognise it. I am using a DisplayPort cable with a USB-C adapter, and I can see the monitor appear in my "Displays" on my Macbook, but the monitor itself just says "Input signal not found". The input also says "Inactive" for DP, HDMI and VGA.
I've tried toggling between the input options and have changed "Auto-Switch Input" to "On" and still haven't been able to get it to work. I've seen that HP monitors aren't optimised for Mac, but have been told that the newer Mac models should be compatible. Is there anything else I can try?
