HP 32s Display

Hello. Have a HP 32s monitor. At the moment my laptop will not detect the display and each time I plug in or unplug the HDMI cable from my laptop the message Input signal not found. Using the same HDMI cable, I connected my laptop to a different monitor and there was no problem with my laptop display on that monitor. Using the same HDMI cable, I connected a different laptop with the HP 32s and same problem. Updated my laptop drivers and that did not make a difference. Downloaded Intel Driver and Support assistant and to double check updates. Still no success with a display on the monitor. Downloaded HP Display Center and nothing detected. The monitors menu screen is seen on the screen, and I can navigate it.

1/6/24 - plugged my Roku into the HP 32s with the HDMI cable intended to use between my laptop and the monitor and home screen appeared on the monitor. Could navigate without a problem. Then plugged my laptop into the HP32s with same hdmi and same problem, input signal not found.

What is the resolution of the laptop set to?

Is it higher than 1080p?
