I am trying to play my computer games on my desktop computer.Had no issues with the computer or monitor until now.All I get is input signal out of range message then monitor goes to sleep. It says to change settings to 1280×1240 60 refresh rate. When I checked menu on my monitor it said it was already on that. So I don't understand why the error is there

@Angela1224 -- It says to change settings to 1280×1240 60 refresh rate. When I checked menu on my monitor it said it was already on that.

The message implies that you need to change the settings within Microsoft Windows to those values, or to the "automatic" setting, which will query the monitor, and use the settings that the monitor replies with.
