I have been able to daisy chain my DP1.2 protocol monitors above using a standard DisplayPort connector. I have not been able to get a signal to the 2nd monitor this way using USB-c as the source to the first monitor. Is is possible to start the chain with a connection from my Thunderbolt 3/4 laptop into the first display using the USB-c input then chain the 2nd display using DP-out to DP-in with the standard DisplayPort connector?
I will test with a specifically TB4 cable and see if the higher protocol needs to be passed, but beyond that, but reluctantly I may need to purchase a TB4 to Standard DisplayPort connector for my laptop to pass the data.
