Product: hp pavilion 15 ryzen 5625u
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I experience a lot of glare on my hp pavilion 15 ,ryzen 5625u,8gb ram, 15.6" screen,512 ssd laptop.

I am thinking about applying antiglare coating on it but the salesman from whom i bought the laptop told me that don't apply anything on the screen, so i am confused why he said that,can anyone help me with what should i do? i am student and i just do projects and little bit gaming, glare strains my eyes a lot and i can't work for long hours, will applying it damage or do anything bad to my laptop? if no where can i get it applied professionally? bubblefree

He is right because the cover may trap heat which will reduce the life of your monitor. But you can weigh how bad for your eyes and make decision
