HP Recommended

I have a macbook air and curretny have a docking station to have 2 screens, one being my new HP monitor. I pop out the camera and the camera/audio says on, but Zoom/Teams, etc can't find my camera. What am I doing wrong? Currently using the HDMI cable that was included with the screen.
