I'm trying to connect a laptop and my HP Desktop to 2 monitors using KVM. My desktop only has 1 HDMI so I tried using VGA to HDMI input to KVM but it's not recognizing the VGA to HDMI monitor.

Some VGA-HDMI adapters have built-in converter, you can see the shape of one end, for example
HDMI Male to VGA Female Video Converter 1080P

From VGA (analog) to HDMI (digital) you need a converter, Does your VGA-HDMI cable support that ?
Regards.

Hi @banhien - not sure if I posted my response correctly so I'm posting again.
Sorry for the delay, I'm just seeing the email of course it went to spam.
I'm not sure about a converter. I have a cable that is HDMI on onside and VGA on another. Is a converter what I need to add?
Thank you.
