Hello everyone! I recently purchased an HP 720 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and wanted to clarify: how long does it take for the keyboard to go into sleep mode, and does it have one at all? Also, does it go into sleep mode when I turn off the computer?
The manual doesn't say anything about this, except to turn off the keyboard.

@deGoo0se, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

The HP 720 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard does have a sleep mode feature intended to conserve battery when not in use.

Typically, wireless keyboards like this enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity to save energy. The exact time can vary, but it's often within minutes of no input being detected. Usually, these keyboards will automatically reconnect or "wake up" when you press a key.

It's also a common behavior for keyboards to enter sleep mode when the computer is turned off or goes into sleep mode itself.

For best battery conservation practices, if you're not planning to use the keyboard for an extended period or are turning off your computer, manually turning off the keyboard might be advisable. Keep in mind that manual control will prevent any unintended battery usage.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
