I have a work laptop - Lenovo Thinkpad. I want to mirror the laptop display to my HP All-in-One Desktop PC 27. However, with the HDMI port on both devices nothing seems to be working. My question is:
1. Is this a compatibility issue?
2. If it is is there a workaround?
3. Will any casting devices work instead of cables?
4. There are many ports in the HP desktop both I/O. Which are the input ports? Can I use a hdmi to c type?

If you want to use an All In One as an external display, you can only do so with two HDMI ports, and you must look for the one that says HDMI-IN. If you don't have it, you cannot use it as a display
