m27f

Hi!

I have an hp m27f monitor and it turns on and off perfectly and detects my MacBook. One catch is that I cannot seem to access the OSD menu at all. There is not lock on it as nothing happens when I hold the button down. None of the buttons trigger anything except the power button (which I can lock and unlock).

how do I access the menu? I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tricks in the help manual.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that the OSD menu on the monitor is not working, I am glad to assist you.

Follow these steps to fix the issue:-

  1. Turn the monitor off.
  2. Press and hold the Menu button.
  3. Press and release the Power button.
  4. Release the Menu button. The OSD is now unlocked.

Keep me posted.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Thank you!

Unfortunately, the buttons were broken. I exchanged my monitor for a new one and am experiencing no problems!

Just in case anyone is looking for a solution.
