HP 23es 23-inch Display
Microsoft Windows 11

With my hp 23es monitor (product T3M74AA), using the OSD to select or adjust settings, the option of "save and return" grayed out. I can't save any changes.

Hi @McCloud56,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

If the "Save and Return" button in the OSD (On-Screen Display) of your HP 23es monitor is grayed out, it may indicate that there are no changes to the settings that need to be saved.

When you make adjustments to the settings using the OSD menu, the "Save and Return" button typically becomes active (not grayed out) to allow you to save the changes and return to the previous menu.

If the button is grayed out, it suggests that either no changes have been made or the changes are automatically saved without the need for manual confirmation.

If you believe you have made changes that need to be saved and the button remains grayed out, you may want to try resetting the monitor settings to their default values and then making your adjustments again to see if the button becomes active.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
