Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have just purchased Monitor M27fw . Before buying it , I checked if it was compatible with my MAC, and people confirmed it is. But the Monitor flashes. It looks like it is not compatible. My Mac has MAC OS Catalina, it  is dated 2012.  I there a solution or shall I return because It won't work??
