Monitor OMEN 25. Physical button uncomfortable: there is a way to change setting via software?

OMEN by HP 25
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everybody

I was wondering to understand if there is a way to change setting of the Monitor OMEN 25 via software (like brightness).

I find the physical buttons uncomfortable and I always mess around trying to press the correct one.

Thanks for you support!

@Kivron

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

To get the answer to this question, its not possible to control monitor brightness with software as the monitor is programmed to operate only with buttons.

However, you can adjust the brightness settings in the Action Center just by pressing the Windows key + A.Use the brightness slider to adjust the level.
The further right the slider, the brighter the screen.

  • If you don't see the icon, press Windows key + I, go to System > Notifications & actions > Edit your quick actions and click Add > Brightness > Done.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks Echo_Lake

Unfortunately I cannt find Brightness option in my list even checking settings. I only have the option like "night light".

Do you have any suggestion how to add it?

Thanks again
