I am trying to connect my HP all-in-one computer to my Macbook Pro early 2015 laptop. I just want to use my Macbook Pro as a display. The two won't recognize each other. I have used HDMI to HDMI and it didn't work. Bought a miniport display cable to HDMI and it still won't work. What can I do now?

Neither of those devices have HDMI in or Video in.
It appears you can project the AIO screen onto the MAC using spacedesk software and safarii (html-5) on the mac. I have not used this app.

If your MacBook supports Miracast then then the PC could project directly onto the Mac. You would have to check the Mac OS to see if it support Miracast.
"Project" means it supports mirror or extension.
