So I've been using this monitor for quite a while with no issues then suddenly it just starts freezing every 4 seconds and when it's not frozen it flickers lightly, the monitor is actually frozen everything I do while the monitor is frozen is normal just the monitor itself freezes, even when the pc is off.
I'm not sure if this is important but when it's frozen at the very top of the screen there's a line that is completely normal, not frozen.

Hi @Deleted_user465,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue with your monitor. The symptoms you're describing could be caused by a few different factors.
- Connection Issue: Sometimes, a loose or damaged cable can cause flickering and freezing. Try reseating the cables connecting your monitor to your computer or other devices. If possible, try using different cables to see if the issue persists.
- Graphics Card Problem: Your graphics card may be malfunctioning or experiencing driver issues. Try updating your graphics card drivers to see if that resolves the problem. You can usually do this through the device manager or by visiting the website of your graphics card manufacturer.
- Monitor Hardware Issue: Unfortunately, monitors can develop hardware issues over time. If none of the above solutions work, it's possible that there's a problem with the monitor itself.
- Interference: Sometimes, nearby electronic devices can cause interference with monitors, leading to flickering or freezing. Try moving any nearby electronic devices away from your monitor to see if that helps.
- Power Supply Problem: If the monitor is not receiving stable power, it could cause flickering and freezing. Try plugging the monitor into a different power outlet or using a different power cable to see if that resolves the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
