Hp monitor

Hi. I recently moved my office to a different location in my home, causing me to unplug and plug in my monitor multiple times. The following thing (pictured) keeps happening to my screen even when I put my laptop to sleep. I never had monitor or cable issues before this move. I’ve tried turning off the monitor for over a minute then powering it back up but it makes no difference. This isn’t happening to the other connected monitor.

For info: The monitor is maybe 2 years old. My work laptop is connected via HDMI to this HP monitor and a second non-HP monitor. Before this move, only the HP monitor was connected to my laptop.

What could be the problem and how do I fix it?
