New pc arrived today. Ordered desktop pavilion 590. With the hp 24fw. Connected it all up and the monitor is blank. I have connected via HDMI cable and also plugged it desktop into the tv and it shows a display. However the hp 25fw does not show anything. It has powers and I have tried using a different HDMI cable. I don't get any hp/Windows logo. Just a lite up screen that won't display anything. Help pleasw

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I see that you're experiencing a blank screen issue with the HP desktop pavilion 590, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
- Are you getting any error message No input signal or No signal detected?
While you respond to that, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
-
Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
-
Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
-
Unplug the power cord.
-
Wait 5 seconds.
-
Plug in the power cord.
-
Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor.
One of two things happens:
-
The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode on the computer. For some computers, updating the BIOS can correct these types of suspending problems.
OR
-
The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps.
-
-
-
If the computer is on, wait until the hard drive activity light on the computer is not lit and then press and hold the Power button on the computer case until the computer turns off.
-
If the monitor has a factory reset or restores option, set it. Press the Menu button on the front panel and select Factory Reset.
-
Wait 5 seconds and then turn on the computer by pressing the Power button again.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I've tried this already I get nothing being displayed on the monitor. Have connected the pc to the tv it works fine and I have also connected it to a spectator monitor and it works fine.
I think this monitor is faulty I am not able to select any menus by pressing any of the button underneath the screen.
Going to contact the support team tomorrow once they open for a replacement of refund. Thanks for your help anyhow.
