hello! I have had this monitor a little over one year and about 2 months into having it, the right side of the screen is now constantly dimmer. It fades to a darker color, but I can still see on that side. So it is not totally blacked out. Not sure how to troubleshoot or what the issue is. Monitor has never been dropped or damaged, it has stayed on the desk since receiving it.

Hi @sjh9,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It's unfortunate to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP M32f FHD Monitor. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to identify and potentially resolve the problem.
Check Connections:
- Ensure that the cables connecting your monitor to the computer are securely plugged in. Try using different cables to see if the issue persists.
Test on Another Device:
- Connect the monitor to a different computer or device to see if the problem persists. This can help determine whether the issue is with the monitor or the computer.
Update Drivers:
- Make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers.
Factory Reset:
- Some monitors have a factory reset option in the settings menu. Check the monitor's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
Adjust Monitor Settings:
- Access the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) menu and check for any settings related to brightness, contrast, or color balance. Reset or adjust these settings to see if it makes a difference.
Check for Software Issues:
- Boot your computer into safe mode to see if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved in safe mode, it could indicate a software or driver-related problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
